The spice in this book had me sweating in all the right ways. Caleah, a nurse, is fed up with her life and the people in it. After a betrayal anyone would run from, she takes off, and finds a cute beach cottage in Florida.
She wasn’t looking for Hudson…. In fact, she was perfectly content, alone, drowning in her sorrows . She never expected to meet Hudson, the drool worthy hitman next door. At first, they found each other irritating at best! He couldn’t stand to see her drink her way to oblivion and she couldn’t stand his controlling nature.
As their curiosity for one another piques, they slowly begin to break down the walls they’ve each buried themselves under. What unfolds, soon after, a compelling story on how a simple drop of love can transform a relationship and actually heal our unseen scars!
Shawna continues to amaze me with her writing talent and I’m honored to call her my friend. Well done, Shawna! 👏 👏 👏
Caleah and Hudson are both hiding for different reasons. She's a nurse. He's a hired hit man. Never would such a pairing be successful. OR maybe being complete opposites is exactly what they need.
These 2 people are broken hit completely different reasons, but they find they can be whole together.
With a kinky kind of spice, this book has all the feels, including rope burn, as they learn they are worth loving after all.
Before I review, please check your kitchen cabinets because all the spice is in this book!!!
